Stockton Finishes in Top Half at NCAA Regionals

(Rochester, NY) – The Richard Stockton men's and women's cross country teams closed the 2012 season by competing at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals in upstate New York.  The Osprey women's squad finished 18th out of 39 scoring teams while the Stockton men placed 19th out of 44 squads.  Junior Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) earned all-region honors by finishing 32nd out of 277 runners in the 6K women's race with a time of 22:55.2.

Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) placed in the top 100 as she crossed the line in 92nd place with a time of 24:00.9.  Laura Warren (Bellmawr/Triton) was next for Stockton at 24:09.6 for 107th place.  Caitlyn Kozlowski (Hillsborough/Hillsborough) finished in 24:51.8 for 146th place, followed shortly by Stephanie Paluchowski (Jackson/Jackson Liberty) in 153rd position with a time of 24:57.8.

Randy Faiges (Bayville/Central Regional) led a group of five Stockton men that all finished within 20 seconds of each other as he posted a time of 27:16.4 for 101st place.  Alex Bruno (Voorhees/Eastern) came in 110th with a time of 27:22.7 and Dillon Glasser (Mays Landing/ACIT) covered the 8K course in 27:33.6 for 123rd position. 

Mitchell Berlin (Cherry Hill/CH West) earned 127th place with a time of 27:36.0, less than a second ahead of teammate James Rivers (Barnegat/Barnegat) who finished in 27:36.6 for 128th place.  The men's race included 297 runners.
