Carl Cochran ’98 holds the Stockton men’s basketball scoring record with 2,124 career points. He also holds 14 additional school records.

Cochran was a 1997 DIII News First Team All-American and two-time NJAC Player of the Year (1996-97). He was an NJAC All-Rookie Team player in 1994, NJAC Second Team in 1995 and NJAC First Team twice (1996-97).

Cochran led the Ospreys to consecutive NJAC championships in 1996-97 and three NCAA Tournament berths (1994, 1996-97). He led the team in scoring for three straight years (1995-97).

Cochran’s jersey number 11 was retired at Stockton in 2000 prior to the first men's basketball game at The Sports Center.
