Gianna Cuffari (Cedar Grover/Cedar Grove) banged out five hits in seven at bats (.714) to lead the Ospreys to victories in their first two games of the season. Cuffari also had the game-winning RBI with a walk-off single in a 2-1 win over Heidelberg. The sophomore was named NJAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
