Club Sports - Power Lifting

Our Power Lifting Club is open to both men & women who wish to gain more knowledge of power lifting and strength training while given an opportunity to compete both on and off campus.  

Training schedules will be dependent upon the member’s academic schedules and will be subject to change each semester for maximum participation.

Phil Aumack was hired in August 2022 as Fitness Program Coordinator/Strength & Conditioning Coach. With the hiring, Aumack returned to Stockton after previously serving as the assistant strength coach from January 2018 through August 2021.

Aumack is a certified strength & conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He spent one year working as a sports performance coach for the St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania before coming back to Stockton. Aumack also possesses experience at the college level from stints in strength and conditioning at Princeton University and Seton Hall University between June 2016 and December 2017.
 
Aumack graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. He later obtained his Master’s degree in Sport Conditioning and Performance from Southern Utah University in 2019.
