Club Sports - Tennis

Stockton University Club Tennis program is a coed organization that offers an opportunity for students who want to continue to play tennis in a competitive environment and share their love of the sport. The club tennis team offers practices 3-5 times a week both semesters weather permitting at our North Athletic Tennis Complex. The team has opportunities to host matches/ tournaments and travel to other colleges, universities and USTA tournaments in the tri-state area.

Head Coach Brian McHugh is a staple in the local tennis community with decades of experience competing and teaching in south jersey. Coach McHugh’s first coaching experience was at Holy Spirit High School with Coach Lee Mendel in the late 80’s. Most recently, Brian was hired as the new Head Tennis Coach at Holy Spirit High School in 2020. Coach McHugh played at Ridley High School in PA., Waynesburg College, and St. Joe’s University. Since Coach McHugh’s arrival at Stockton University, the club has grown exponentially with our men and women competing locally in NJ., PA., DE. Brian has been a very successful entrepreneur in south jersey for many years and currently resides in Brigantine, NJ.

Dates: September through May

Days: Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (4:00pm-7:00pm) ***Practices may be extended to 9:00pm depending on classes, scheduling conflicts & weather.
