Club Sports - Cheerleading

The Stockton cheerleading squad traditionally performs at all home men's and women's basketball games, cheering during play and performing halftime routines. The squad is open to both male and female students. For more information, contact the Office of Athletics and Recreation at (609) 652-4217.

In the past, the squad occasionally attended cheerleading competitions as well. In the 1998-99 academic year, the Stockton cheerleaders won the first-ever New Jersey Intercollegiate State Championship. The award, given for outstanding spirit and cheerleading excellence in an intercollegiate game setting, recognized Stockton as the top program in the state regardless of size or level.
 

Hannah Singer will be entering her first season as Stockton's Head Cheerleading coach after serving as an Assistant Coach last year.  Hannah choreographed Stockton's Nationals routine for their Disney competition in January 2025.

Coach Singer is a graduate of Towson University in MD., where she was a four year starter on the Towson Cheerleading Team.  They competed in the UCA National College Division I Tournament  placing in the top six all four years.

Coach Singer is also certified in Catastrophic Injury Prevention, Concussion Certified (NFHS), USA Cheer Safety & Risk Management and CPR & First Aid.

Participants must receive Stockton Physical Packets and take to their primary care physician or Urgent Care to be completed and be approved by Stockton athletic trainer:
  1. Print this PDF
  2. Complete and sign all required forms.
  3. Have a physician perform the physical examination and sign the medical clearance.
  4. Submit the completed physical packet to Mario Librizzi-Laing, Assistant Director of Club Sports, Intramurals, and Recreation.
  5. Athletic Training will review the packet and provide final clearance.
