Fencing Club

Fencing has been a staple club sport of Stockton's Athletic department for decades. Fencing is a combat sport that features sword fighting and. The three disciplines of modern fencing are the foil, the épée, and the sabre; each discipline uses a different kind of blade, which shares the same name, and employs its own rules. Most competitive fencers specialize in one discipline.  Fencing is a well-rounded sport that develops quickness, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular conditioning.

Fencing instruction is provided in epee, foil and saber. Technique and foot work are taught in this exciting sport.
