Marissa Semeraro (Ridgefield/Ridgefield) won her third game of her rookie season against Stevens. The freshman tossed five innings, scattering four hits and striking out three hitters. Semeraro lowered her ERA to a sparkling 1.34 (3rd in NJAC) and opponents are hitting just .233 for the season against her. For her play, she was named NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career.
