Ray Hughes (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) tossed his first career shutout as he blanked New Jersey City 7-0 on Saturday. The junior struck out 10 batters while allowing just four hits in the win. Hughes improved to 3-2 on the season with the victory. He leads the Ospreys with 47 strikeouts.
