Freshman Steven Jernee (Ocean City/Ocean City) won the javelin at the NJAC Outdoor Championships last weekend. His toss of 60.72m was his second-best outdoor throw of the season. Jernee has qualified for the Atlantic Regional Championships next week and currently ranks 11th in Division III in the javelin.
