Jy'Asia Bivins (Toms River/TR South) was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Fastrack National Invite. Bivins topped a large field of 54 competitors in the long jump with a leap of 5.42 meters that was a personal best and a qualifier for the Atlantic Region Championships. The freshman also placed 31st out of 48 in the triple jump at 10.38 meters and ran a personal best of 8.16 seconds in the 60m dash for 38th place out of 82 runners.
