Leah McCray (Philadelphia, PA/Merion Mercy Academy) was chosen NJAC Rookie of the Week. McCray hit .367 (11-30) with a team-high seven runs plus eight RBI, four doubles and two home runs in eight games in Florida. The freshman hit safely in six of the eight contests and finished with two hits apiece in five of them.
