Erik Ackerman (Long Valley/West Morris Central) shattered the school record in the mile run (4:15.22), breaking the mark of Joe D’Amico in 2019. The freshman set the new mark by over one-and-a-half seconds at the Fastrack National Invite to finish fifth out of 62 runners. His time was the third-fastest by an NJAC runner this season. Ackerman also ran a leg on the distance medley relay.
