Jordan Nitti (Hamilton/Steinert) batted .478 with a team-high 11 hits plus three runs scored and six RBI. The freshman broke the single-season record with his 66th hit against Rutgers-Newark. The previous mark was 65 set by Matt Allen (2010). Nitti hit safely in all five games and finished the season with a seven-game hitting streak.
