Shahyan Abraham (Orange/Orange) was chosen NJAC Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season. Abraham broke her own school record in the weight throw at the Big Apple Invitational with an effort of 17.58m that moved her into 11th in the nation and was third out of 45 competitors. Abraham also finished fifth out of 53 in the shot put (12.96m). She was the top Division III thrower in each event.
