Erik Ackerman (Long Valley/West Morris Central) won the NJAC individual title by topping the field of 88 runners in the NJAC Championship with a time of 26:01.1 for eight kilometers. Ackerman won by five seconds, became Stockton’s third NJAC individual champion in men's cross country and earned the NJAC Runner of the Year award plus an NJAC First Team spot.
