Erik Ackerman (Long Valley/West Morris Central) finished sixth out of 177 runners to qualify for the NCAA Championship and lead the Ospreys to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA DIII Metro Regionals. Ackerman’s time of 24:59.3 was a personal best that eclipsed his previous top time by over 57 seconds, and his finish was the best ever for a Stockton male at regionals.
