Kayla Kass (Bayonne/County Prep) set a new school record and finished 62nd out of 156 runners in the 800m (2:16.01) at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Kass, who was chosen NJAC Track Athlete of the Week, moved into 16th in the nation and shaved two seconds off the old mark, which had stood since 2016. She was the second Division III finisher and one of just two from DIII in the top 70.
