Kayla Kass (Bayonne/Bayonne) finished ninth out of 22 runners in the prelims of the 800m run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Kass ran a time of 2:10.92 and qualified as a Second Team All-American. She finished third in her heat of eight runners and missed earning a spot in the final by just three tenths of a second.
