Michaela Pomatto (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) finished 11th out of 22 in the discus to earn a Second Team All-American spot. Pomatto, who entered the NCAA Championships ranked 11th, registered a top throw of 43.38 meters on the second of her three attempts. By finishing between ninth and 16th, she qualified for Second Team All-American status.
