Erik Ackerman (Long Valley/West Morris Central) was the runner-up out of 189 runners at the Osprey Open with a time of 25:10.58 for eight kilometers. Ackerman finished behind only an NCAA Division II runner from Caldwell College and led the Stockton Men’s Cross Country to a sixth-place finish out of 20 teams. Ackerman was named NJAC Runner of the Week for the second time in his career.
