Nick Juengert retired in 2025 after 22 seasons as the Stockton head women’s soccer coach. Juengert finished with a career record of 282-132-63 (.657 win pct.) and his squads won at least 12 games in 17 of his 22 seasons. He led the Ospreys to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 2006-09 plus three ECAC titles (2003, 04, 21).

Juengert coached Stockton to a 10-6-3 record in his final season of 2024 following an 8-4-7 mark in 2023 and an 8-8-5 mark in 2022. The 2021 season saw the Ospreys go 15-6-3 and finish off the season with the programs’s sixth ECAC title. Juengert helmed Stockton to a 3-2-2 record and a berth in the NJAC Tournament semifinals during a Spring 2021 season shortened by COVID-19.

Juengert guided the Ospreys to a 14-4-3 record and a berth in the NJAC Tournament semifinals in a 2019 campaign that was highlighted by an 11-game unbeaten streak (10-0-1). Stockton recorded 13 victories in 2018 after two straight 12-win seasons in 2015-16 and a nine-win year in 2017. Juengert reached the 200-win mark with a 7-1 victory over New Jersey City on October 22, 2016. In 2014, he helped Stockton rebound from an 0-4 start to finish 15-9. 

Stockton notched back-to-back 17-win seasons in 2012-13 that were its highest victory totals since 2008. After totaling 13 wins in 2010, the Ospreys improved to 15-7-4 in 2011 and made their fourth trip to the NJAC championship match in five years. Juengert notched his 100th victory at Stockton with a 2-0 shutout of Kean on October 31, 2009. The Ospreys later advanced to their third straight NJAC championship game and received their fourth consecutive at-large NCAA Tournament berth. 

In 2008, Juengert coached the Ospreys to 18 wins, a berth in the NJAC title game for the second year in a row and a third consecutive NCAA Tournament at-large bid. Stockton went 18-4-2, reached the NJAC tournament finals for the first time and earned its second consecutive at-large NCAA berth in 2007. The Ospreys just missed the school record of 19 wins both years. Juengert coached his 2006 team to a 15-5-3 record and an NCAA Tournament bid in a campaign that was an eight-win improvement over 2005 when Stockton’s roster featured 17 freshmen.  

Juengert guided the Ospreys to a 14-6-2 mark in 2004, including their third consecutive ECAC Metro title and second with him on the bench. He made an impressive debut as Stockton’s head coach in 2003. The Ospreys started 7-0, upset #2 Messiah, achieved a #6 national ranking in September and later won the ECAC Metro championship, capping a successful first year for their new mentor at 15-4-2.

Juengert took over the Stockton women’s program following six years as an assistant men’s coach at Rider University, where he helped the Broncs win MAAC championships and earn NCAA berths in 1997 and 1998. Prior to joining the Rider staff, Juengert went 73-32-7 in six seasons as the head men’s coach at Burlington County College. In 1996, the Barons were the national runner-up and Juengert was named NSCAA Junior College National Coach of the Year, Region XIX Coach of the Year and Garden State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.

Juengert also completed assistant coaching stints at Burlington CC, New Paltz and Willingboro High School, and he has worked with the New Jersey Olympic Development Program and the Medford Strikers. As a player, Juengert earned two letters apiece in soccer at Burlington County College and Rutgers University. He possesses a bachelor’s degree in physical education and sports management from Rutgers.
