BoxscoreEwing, NJ – #8 Richard Stockton (7-0, 2-0 NJAC) led for all but the first three minutes and methodically rolled to a 78-56 victory over College of New Jersey (3-4, 1-2) for its seventh straight win to open the season. Four of Stockton's five starters reached double figures led by
Josh Blamon (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) and
Armin Cane (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) with 15 points apiece.

Nate Pacius (Neptune/Academy Charter) scored six early points and
Myles Reuben (Edison/J.P. Stevens) added five as Stockton opened up a 15-7 lead in the first four-and-a-half minutes. The margin reached double digits for the first time at 41-31 on a three-pointer by
Zavon Johnson (Trenton/West Windsor-Plainsboro South) and stood at 45-33 at intermission after the Ospreys scored the last four points of the half.

Stockton shot 54.5 percent from the floor and 6-7 (85.7%) at the line in the first half. Pacius was perfect from the field (4-4) and 3-4 at the stripe for 11 points and Blamon also tossed in 11 markers.
Anthony Woodard (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) did not miss a shot, going 3-3 on field goals plus 1-1 on free throws for seven points.

Blamon scored the first basket of the second half on a layup and the Ospreys led by at least 14 points for the rest of the game. The lead peaked at 24 points, 77-53, with 2:51 on the clock as Stockton coasted to the 78-56 win by outscoring TCNJ 33-23 in the second stanza.

Pacius finished with 11 points, all in the first half, followed by Reuben with 10 and Woodard with nine. Blamon grabbed a team-high six rebounds, led all players with three steals and brought his career scoring total to 987 points. All 15 Stockton players saw at least two minutes of game action and 10 scored.
