BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – No. 2 seed Stockton University (14-5-1) was eliminated from the NJAC tournament with a 2-0 defeat to No. 3 seed Rutgers-Camden (13-7-1in the conference semifinals on Wednesday night. The setback was Stockton's second straight to the Scarlet Raptors, who topped the Ospreys by the identical 2-0 final a week ago to finish the regular season.

Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Heights/Gateway) firing a game-high nine shots, three of which were on goal. The Ospreys also had a slim 5-4 edge on corner kicks. Stockton was blanked for the second straight time and fourth this year.
The Scarlet Raptors got on the board first with a goal by Clayton Taylor for a 1-0 lead. After a long throw-in, Ray El-Khoury flicked a header to Taylor for the score. The marker would hold up through the half. Stockton squeezed off four shots on net but could not produce the tying goal. Connor Hurff sealed the game with a back-heel kick from 12 yards out that hit the net at 80:50 to set the final score at 2-0.

Bobby Varga (Toms River/TR East) made six saves, all in the second half, but took the loss. Varga's best stop came on a penalty kick by NJAC scoring leader Mike Ryan with 8:13 remaining in the game. James Brett picked up the win for Rutgers-Camden, kicking out four shots, all in the first half.
Stockton now awaits a possible invitation to the ECAC Metro Tournament. The bracket will be announced on November 9 and the tournament will begin on November 11.
