BoxscoreAuburndale, FL – Stockton University (2-3) scored two runs in the bottom of the 15th inning to outlast Curry College (MA) (4-3) 2-1 in a game that was scoreless through the first 14 frames.
Keith Tappert (Toms River/TR East) went 2-6 with a game-tying solo homer in the 15th inning.
Mark Jankowski (Sewell/Washington Twp.) and
Erik Danser (Marlton/Cherokee) also stroked two hits apiece.

Dylan Warburton (Sewell/Washington Twp.) pitched six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out seven.
Brandon Perna (Cherry Hill/CH West) followed with five no-hit innings during which he retired 15 of the 16 batters that he faced. After four more pitchers worked the next three-plus innings,
Tim Patterson (Bellmawr/Gloucester Catholic) got the final three outs in the top of the 15th for the win.

Curry scored the game's first run in the top of the 15th on two walks and a single. Trailing 1-0 and down to their final two outs, the Ospreys got the rally started with Tappert's solo homer in the bottom of the 15th.
Matt Mangarella (Milltown/Spotswood) then drew a walk and stole second. Two batters later,
George Eisenhart (Harrison Twp./Clearview) singled and Mangarella scored on a Curry error on the play to give Stockton the dramatic 2-1 win.

Stockton will have a well-earned day off tomorrow after five games in four days, three of which went to extra innings. The Ospreys will return to action with a doubleheader against Albion College (MI) on Thursday at 1:30 pm.
