BoxscoreSt. David's, PA – Stockton University (6-2) suffered its second consecutive loss as the Ospreys were overwhelmed 15-5 by Eastern University (7-2). Stockton produced its lowest goal total this season offensively and yielded its most goals allowed this year defensively. Five Ospreys scored one goal apiece led by
Eugene Isola (Monroe Twp./Christian Brothers Academy) who also won 14 of 20 faceoffs and scooped a team-high four ground balls.

After Eastern took an early 2-0 lead on goals 1:15 apart, Stockton struck back on tallies by
James O'Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) and
Andrew Clarkson (Marlton/Cherokee) to pull into a 2-2. Eastern seized control of the game by scoring six unanswered goals for an 8-2 count before Isola ended a drought of 18:30 with his second marker of the season. The Eagles tacked on another goal with 28 seconds left in the first half and Stockton trailed 9-3 at the break.

Freshman
Zack Aho (Shamong/Seneca) opened the second-half scoring 2:35 into the third quarter but Eastern reeled off the next five goals to make it 14-4 with 11 minutes to play.
Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/North Hunterdon) tossed in the final tally for the Ospreys with 9:58 remaining and Eastern scored just over two minutes later to close out the 15-5 Stockton defeat.
