Winter Haven, FL – Stockton University (1-2) could not keep up with the offense of Iowa Wesleyan and dropped a 15-5 decision in the third of the Ospreys' nine scheduled games in Florida. Seven different players each knocked one hit in the contest, topped by freshman Tyler Hobbs (Brick/Brick Memorial) who went 1-3 with a double, Stockton's lone extra-base hit and a run scored.
 
Bryce DiPaola (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) was 1-1 with an RBI, run and a walk in two plate appearances. Jon Saggese (Linwood/Mainland) and Stephen Edelstein (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville) also contributed one RBI apiece. Iowa Wesleyan scored twice in each of the first three innings and the Ospreys could not overcome the 6-0 deficit. They plated four runs in the eighth frame to get within 10-5 but a five-run ninth by Iowa Wesleyan clinched the game.
 
Stockton will play Fontbonne University (MO) in Auburndale, FL tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
