BoxscoreAuburndale, FL – Stockton University (1-3) surrendered two runs in the bottom of the ninth and fell to Fontbonne (MO) 3-2. The Ospreys led 2-0 after six innings but were unable to protect the lead down the stretch. Stockton totaled seven hits in the game, led by
Brett Solomen (Harrison Twp./Clearview) who went 2-4 with a double and a run scored.

Andy Oliver (Penns Grove/Penns Grove) was 1-3 with a walk and an RBI while
Stephen Struble (Hammonton/Hammonton) singled and scored for the Ospreys. Starting pitcher
Aidan Ryan (Cedar Run/Msgr. Donovan) pitched seven strong innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking out seven, but he was not involved in the decision.

The Ospreys snapped a scoreless tie in the sixth inning as Solomen doubled and scored on an RBI single by Oliver. Struble reached on a fielder's choice and scored on a sacrifice fly by
Erik Danser (Marlton/Cherokee) later in the inning for a 2-0 lead. Fontbonne put one run on the board in the seventh frame and manufactured two runs on two hits, a walk, an error and a passed ball in the bottom of the ninth to edge Stockton 3-2.

Stockton will play its fifth game in four days tomorrow when the Ospreys face Curry College (MA) in Auburndale at 9 am.
