Boxscore

Glassboro, NJ – Stockton University (8-5, 1-3 NJAC) could not keep pace with Rowan University (5-6, 2-2) and suffered a 10-4 setback in an NJAC road game. Goalkeeper Mary Stornes (Galloway/Absegami) tied her career high with 15 saves but the Ospreys were outshot 35-9 and held to four goals for the second straight outing. Zoey Kramer (Eatontown/Red Bank Catholic) tallied a goal and two assists.

Rowan showed a knack for scoring goals in quick succession throughout the game, starting with two 57 seconds apart before Kramer set up Brianna Rolke (Berlin/Eastern) for Stockton's first marker. Rowan struck next but Kramer answered to get the Ospreys within one again at 3-2.  Late in the half, the Profs scored twice in a 22-second span and Stockton trailed 5-2 at the break.

The Ospreys were outscored 5-2 again in the second half. Rowan opened the scoring before Kim Raichelson (Brick/Brick Memorial) answered to make it a 6-3 game but Stockton never got any closer. The Profs responded 26 seconds after Raichelson's goal and later potted a pair just 23 seconds apart for a 9-3 count.

Lauren Ivancich (Beach Haven/Southern Regional) scored Stockton's last goal of the game on an assist by Kramer and Rowan tossed in one more tally down the stretch to set the final score at 10-4.

Stornes reached double digits in saves for the second straight game and third time this season. Ivancich snagged a game-high five draw controls and Monica Barysh (Manalapan/Manalapan) produced two caused turnovers for the Ospreys.

Stockton will return home to play Rosemont College in a rescheduled game on Friday at 5 pm.
