BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Stockton University (4-2, 2-1 NJAC) extended its winning streak to three with a 9-0 victory over Arcadia University (0-1) in a non-conference home match. The Ospreys swept all nine matches for the second straight day.
Colleen Anderson (Barnegat/Barnegat) and
Kristy Faren (Franklin Lakes/Indian Hills) led the way in doubles with an 8-0 shutout.
Summer Conover (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) and
Gianna Letinski (Barnegat/Barnegat) teamed for an 8-1 win.
Alyssa Brady (Galloway/Absegami) and
Sydni Fahringer (Northfield/Mainland) partnered for an 8-2 triumph.
In singles play,
Brynn Buechler (Pennsville/Pennsville) dropped only one game in a 6-1, 6-0 rout and Letinski won 6-2, 6-0. Fahringer was a 6-1, 6-1 winner and Conover downed her opponent 6-2, 6-1. Brady pulled away for a 6-4, 6-1 victory and Anderson also won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.
Stockton will have some time off before continuing its five-match homestand by hosting Kean University in an NJAC contest on September 26.
