Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-9, 1-5 NJAC) concluded the 2016 season with a 5-1 setback to Rowan University (12-6, 3-3) in an NJAC home game.
Jacquie Fenton (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored the goal for the Ospreys. Despite the result, Stockton finished the year with its highest win total since 2013, eight victories.
The Profs netted the only two goals of the first half, breaking through first with 21:09 gone. The second tally came on a penalty corner after time had expired in the period. Rowan then made it 3-0 8:50 into the second half before Stockton got on the board 5:36 later.
Jacquie Fenton (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored off a scrum in front with 20:34 remaining to knock one goal off Stockton's deficit at 3-1. The tally was Fenton's third of the season. Rowan potted two more goals in the last 18 minutes for the 5-1 final score.

Emily Sorochynskyj (Boonton/Boonton) registered four saves, as did her counterpart Carly DeMarco for Rowan. Shots were 15-10 in favor of the Profs and each team registered 10 penalty corners.
