Radnor, PA – Stockton University (4-1) swept all nine matches for a 9-0 victory over Cabrini (3-2) that was the fourth straight win for the Ospreys. Five Stockton players registered victories in both singles and doubles during the shutout.
Summer Conover (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) led the way in singles with a 6-0, 6-4 triumph while
Colleen Anderson (Barnegat/Barnegat) won 6-2, 6-4.
Maria Ibarra (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 rout and
Theresa Fernbacher (West Milford/West Milford) chipped in with a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Amanda El-Khouri (Brick/Brick Memorial) posted a 6-1, 6-2 win and
Kassandra Ledesma (Toms River/TR South) edged her opponent 9-8 (7-5) to complete the singles sweep for the Ospreys.
Conover and Ibarra teamed for an 8-2 win in doubles. The duo of Anderson and El-Khouri also won by an 8-2 score. Ledesma and
Taylor Searles (Turnersville/Washington Twp.) cruised to an 8-1 triumph.
Stockton will host Staten Island in a non-conference match on Saturday at 1 p.m.
