Galloway, NJ – Stockton University senior 
Allie Desmond (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) was chosen to the 
All-ECAC Team in volleyball for the 2018 season. The ECAC honor joined her list of postseason accolades that includes AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, NJAC Player of the Year, NJAC First Team and AVCA Northeast Region First Team.
 
Desmond capped her four seasons at Stockton with an outstanding senior year in which she set career highs in kills (468), blocks (68), digs (57) and hitting percentage (.298). The right-side hitter topped the NJAC in kills (3.84 kps) and points (4.13 pps) while also finishing fifth in the conference in hitting percentage (.298).
 
Desmond also excelled on a national level, tying for 11th in NCAA Division III in total kills and ranking 44th in kills per set. During the season, she was selected NJAC Player of the Week twice plus ECAC Player of the Month for October.
 
Desmond played in 67 of a possible 68 matches over the last two years and finished career at Stockton with 773 kills, 134 digs and 108 blocks in 104 matches. In her four seasons in Galloway, Desmond helped the Ospreys to a 102-38 (.728) record, with an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2015.
