Bethlehem, PA – Stockton University competed in the Fast Times Before Finals meet at Lehigh University, the second and final meet for the Ospreys before semester break. The meet featured a mixture of NCAA Division I, II and III teams from Pennsylvania plus Stockton and Rowan.
Qudratullah Qadiri (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) registered the best finish of the day by an Osprey, placing second out of 20 in the men's pole vault (4.40m). Qadiri qualified for the Atlantic Region Championships with the performance.
Emmy LaFevre (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) was the top female finisher for Stockton as she earned sixth place out of 27 in the shot put (11.12m).
Randi Lyn Hornyak (Ogdensburg/Wallkill Valley) was ninth in the shot put (10.87m).
LaFevre also was 14th out of 33 in the weight throw (12.62m) followed by
Charlotte Leon (Northport, NY/Northport) in 15th place (12.19m).
Jessica McRae (Keyport/Carteret) performed well in two events, finishing seventh out of 22 in the triple jump (10.88m) and 10th of 28 in the long jump (5.00m). McRae qualified for the Atlantic Region Championships in the triple jump as well.
Erin Cannon (Howell/Howell) placed 11th out of 33 in the 500m (1:22.02) and
Abby Lodge (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) was 12th in a large field of 56 runners in the 200m (27.26 seconds).
Hunter Daly (Florence/Florence) tied for eighth out of 15 in the high jump (1.85m) and two Ospreys finished in the top half of the men's shot put.
Jacob Ciocco (Cherry Hill/CH East) finished 10th out of 24 (13.49m) and
James Flasser (South Plainfield/South Plainfield) placed 12th (13.02m).
Stockton will have a long break before returning to action on January 12 at the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational at New York Armory.
