Stevenson, MD – Stockton University (1-2) won five out of six in singles and two out of three in doubles for its first victory of the season, 7-2 over Stevenson (0-1).
Kristen McCormick (Galloway/Absegami) and
Emily Steinberg (Toms River/TR North) led the Ospreys with victories in singles and doubles.
In singles, Steinberg outlasted her opponent 7-6, 6-7, 10-5 in a super-tiebreaker and McCormick produced a 6-2, 6-1 win.
Brenna Samuels (Salem/Salem) and
Katelyn Emick (West Deptford/West Deptford) each rolled to 6-0, 6-0 shutouts while
Brooke Samuels (Salem/Salem) contributed a 6-3, 6-4 triumph.
Steinberg and
Maria Ibarra (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) edged their foes 9-7 in doubles. McCormick and
Renee Wornowicz (Old Bridge/Old Bridge) teamed up for an 8-4 win for the Ospreys.
Stockton will take to the road again on Wednesday for a match at Cabrini at 3:30 pm.
