Blue Bell, Pa. – Stockton University played its fifth and final tournament of the fall season as two Ospreys competed in the Arcadia Knights Invitational at Cedarbrook Country Club.
Danielle Elia (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) shot a 91 and finished sixth out of 24 golfers.
Elia finished just three shots out of second place in the tournament. Freshman
Tamara Farrow (Cape May Court House/Middle Twp.) shot the best round of her young career with a 118 to earn 18th place. Farrow was within three strokes of cracking the top 15.
In addition to the Stockton players, the tournament included golfers from fellow NCAA Division III programs Alvernia, Arcadia, Albright, Delaware Valley and Ursinus plus Division II Jefferson University.
In the program's first year as an intercollegiate sport, Stockton players competed in five tournaments during the fall semester. The Ospreys will continue their inaugural season in Spring 2020.
