Julie Kohlhoff (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) and
Emily Sullivan (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) received
All-America Honorable Mention recognition from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Both players received All-America nods for the first time.
Kohlhoff and Sullivan became the 10th and 11th Stockton players ever to earn All-America status and extended Stockton's streak to 10 straight years with at least one All-American. The pair led the Ospreys to a 31-4 record, the NJAC championship and the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Kohlhoff led the NJAC and currently ranks seventh in NCAA Division III in hitting percentage (.408). The middle hitter also finished fourth in the conference in blocks (0.79 bps). Kohlhoff topped the Ospreys in kills (329) and blocks (105) this season while setting career highs in both categories.
Kohlhoff played in all 35 matches and missed only one of Stockton's 134 sets. She reached double digits in kills 15 times, highlighted by a career-high 19 kills against Kean on October 29. Kohlhoff registered at least three blocks in 17 matches, with a high of eight blocks versus Haverford on September 14.
Sullivan finished third in the NJAC in assists (9.19 aps) and fourth in hitting percentage (.347). The setter topped the Ospreys in assists with 1,231, the sixth-best season total in the program's history. Sullivan also finished second on the team in hitting percentage, aces (58) and digs (340) plus third in kills (202) and blocks (54).
Sullivan was one of 26 players in NCAA Division III with multiple triple-doubles this season (2), and she ranks 11th in the nation in total assists (1,231). Sullivan played every one of Stockton's 134 sets and dealt at least 20 assists in all but one of the team's 35 matches. In addition, she moved into fourth all-time at Stockton with 2,860 career assists.
