Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University finished fourth out of seven men's teams and fourth out of eight women's team in the NJAC Championships, which were held at Stockton this morning. Two Ospreys registered top-10 finishes, one in each race.
Daniel Do (Galloway/Absegami) finished fourth out of 104 runners with a career-best 8K time of 24:59.1. Do's topped his best prior NJAC Championship performance, which was seventh as a freshman in 2017.
Cooper Knorr (Manalapan/Manalapan) placed 27th with a time of 26:08.8 for Stockton.
Matt Cohen (Robbinsville/Robbinsville) was the third Osprey finisher, placing 30th at 26:13.9.
Kyle Navalance (Toms River/TR North) posted a time of 26:39.4 for 39th place and
Matthew Keidat (Margate/Holy Spirit) was the fifth Stockton runner across the line as he finished 42nd at 26:52.5.
Maria Antoni (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) led the Stockton women's team by finishing eighth out of 105 competitors with a time of 23:42.7 that was her best of the season.
Jessie Klenk (Somerdale/Sterling) followed in 15th place at 24:05.7.
The next three Ospreys finished in succession, starting with
Jesse DeLello (Warren/Watchung Hills) in 29th place with a time of 24:54.2. Five seconds later,
Dominique Tye (Roxbury/Roxbury) crossed the line at 24:59.2 for 30th place. One second after Tye,
Jamie Wun (Moorestown/Moorestown) finished 31st at 25:00.4.
Stockton will compete again in two weeks at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals, hosted by St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. on November 16.
