Steve Ferebee (Galloway/Absegami) was chosen
NJAC Honorable Mention for the 2018-19 season, collecting all-conference honors for the first time. Ferebee led the team in three different categories while starting all 25 games for the Ospreys this season.
Ferebee set career highs and led the team in rebounds (6.2 rpg), blocks (1.0 bpg) and field goal percentage (.473). He ranks in the top 10 of the NJAC in all three categories as well, standing tied for third in blocks and eighth in rebounds and field goal percentage. The junior also set personal bests and finished second on the team in free throw percentage (.758) and scoring (10.6 ppg).
The Galloway native pulled down 2.4 rebounds per game on the offensive glass, placing him third in the NJAC, and pilfered 18 steals as well. Ferebee scored in double figures 14 times this year, finishing the season by hitting double digits in eight of the team's last 10 games. He also registered two double-doubles in points and rebounds.
Ferebee scored a career-high 21 points against Montclair State on January 12, then repeated the feat against Rowan on January 30. He moved into seventh in school history with 67 career blocks and also has totaled 667 points and 418 rebounds in three seasons at Stockton.
