Galloway, NJ – Eleven members of the Stockton University men's indoor track & field team earned NJAC all-conference honors for the 2018-19 season. Senior
Joe D'Amico (Bayville/Central Regional) and sophomore
Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) led the way with NJAC First Team accolades, including the second straight first team nod for Holland.
The all-conference teams are based on finish in each event at the NJAC Championships on February 18. Event winners at the NJAC Championships receive NJAC First Team honors while runners-up are slotted for NJAC Second Team kudos and third-place finishers are recognized as NJAC Honorable Mention. As a team, the Ospreys placed second at the conference meet, tying their highest finish in school history.
Holland captured the men's pole vault (4.40m) at the NJAC Championships, leading a sweep of the top three spots in the event.
Qudratullah Qadiri (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) finished second behind Holland on tiebreakers (4.40m) for an NJAC Second Team nod, with freshman
Matthew Carter (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) taking NJAC Honorable Mention with a vault of 4.25 meters.
D'Amico won the mile in a career-best time of 4:16.14. The senior also picked up an NJAC Honorable Mention nod in the 4x800 meter relay along with
Matt Cohen (Robbinsville/Robbinsville),
Andrew Fellin (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) and
Christian Mele (Cherry Hill/CH East) with a third-place time of 8:09.79.
Donovan Bryan-Frank (Teaneck/Teaneck) and freshman
Hunter Daly (Florence/Florence) earned NJAC Second Team and NJAC Honorable Mention spots respectively in the high jump. Both Ospreys jumped 1.93 meters, but Bryan-Frank picked up the second team nod on tiebreakers.
James Flasser (South Plainfield/South Plainfield) in the shot put (13.87m) and freshman
Keon Grady (Franklinville/Delsea) in the triple jump (13.77m) also earned NJAC Honorable Mention status.
