Galloway, NJ – Stockton University junior
Donovan Bryan-Frank (Teaneck/Teaneck) earned an
All-Atlantic Region accolade in the high jump from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2018-19 indoor season.
To qualify, competitors needed to post a mark that ranked in the top five in the region in an individual event or top three in a relay. Bryan-Frank's best high jump of the indoor season was 2.04 meters (6-8¼) at the Fastrack Invite on February 8. The effort placed him second in the Atlantic Region, qualifying him for all-region status.
Bryan-Frank produced a consistent indoor season in the high jump. He finished in the top five at five of the six meets in which he competed. The junior placed second twice, at the NYU DIII Invite on February 1 and NJAC Indoor Championships on February 18, for which he received NJAC Second Team recognition.
Bryan-Frank tied for 20th in the nation in the high jump this season, narrowly missing out on a spot in the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships due to a tiebreaker. He also competes in outdoor track & field, which begins with the Stockton Invitational on March 23.
