Camden, NJ – After a two-week layoff, Stockton University returned to action at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River over the weekend. The Ospreys rowed in three races, competing against fellow NCAA Division III squads in the varsity eight, varsity four and frosh/novice eight.

Olivia Hurley (Bayville/Central Regional),
Lily Ludgate (Linwood/Mainland),
Jany Anderson (Petersburg/Ocean City) and
Julia Iannelli (Ventnor/Atlantic City) rowed in the varsity eight for Stockton.
Julianna Hanson (Linwood/Mainland) was the coxswain for the varsity eight, which finished fourth in their heat with a time of 8:22.45. Stockton's heat was won by Franklin & Marshall.
Emily Culmone (Absecon/Oceana City),
Desarae Dempsey (Franklinville/GCIT),
Kayla Bokor (Wayne/Roxbury) and
Catelyn Andrews (Old Bridge/Old Bridge) were the rowers in the varsity four and
Kristen Quingco (Dumont/Dumont) was the coxswain. The Osprey four placed fifth with a time of 9:17.59 in a heat that was won by Washington College (MD).
In the frosh/novice eight, Stockton posted a time of 8:49.85 and finished third behind winner Catholic University and Bryn Mawr in second.

Marie Carney (Linwood/Mainland) with Hanson as the coxswain.
Stockton will take the next two weeks to prepare for the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships at Gifford Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, PA on April 27.
