Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (12-10, 1-3 NJAC) wrapped up a hectic stretch of four doubleheaders in six days with a pair of shutout losses to The College of New Jersey (17-5, 4-0) by scores of 9-0 and 6-0. The second game was stopped after five innings due to darkness.

In the nightcap, sophomore
Gracie Meyer (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) rapped an infield single for her first career hit. Meyer led off the third inning with the safety, which was Stockton's only hit of the game off Lions'' hurler Alanna Namit.

TCNJ took an early 1-0 edge with an unearned run in the top of the first. The Lions added another run in the second inning and two more on a two-run homer by Jess McGuire in the third frame. Single tallies in the fourth and fifth stanzas made it 6-0. With skies darkening and the temperature in the low 40's, the game was stopped after five innings.
