The Profs, who are ranked fourth in the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Poll, jumped out to a 12-0 lead after three innings, before Stockton broke through on the scoreboard.
With two out in the bottom half of the third frame, the Ospreys plated a pair of runs. Swentkowski walked,
John Perrino (Wall/Wall) reached on an error, then Cashman drove in Swentkowski for the first run. Perrino would later score on a passed ball to make it 12-2.

Rowan would add three more runs, for a 17-3 margin, that lasted until the bottom of the ninth inning when the Ospreys scored twice more. Two walks and a single by Swentkowski loaded the bases. Perrino walked forcing in a run, then Cashman would end the scoring with a sacrifice fly RBI to set the final score at 17-5.
The inning was highlighted by senior
