Staten Island, N.Y. – Stockton University competed in the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational on Friday night, the third straight trip to Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex and fifth of the season for the Ospreys. Twenty Stockton student-athletes participated in the meet.
Edward Dennerlein (Chatham/Chatham) won the shot put (15.83m) for his fifth victory of the season in the event.
Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) finished second in the pole vault (4.55m).
A pair of Ospreys registered fifth-place finishes.
Colin Hueston (Metuchen/Metuchen) placed fifth in the 500m (1:11.17) and
Jared Conte (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) was fifth in the 400m (50.66 seconds). Hueston and Conte both established personal bests on the night.
Jesse DeLello (Warren/Watchung Hills) was the top finisher for the Stockton women's team. DeLello ran a personal best and placed seventh out of 18 in the mile (5:20.51).
Stockton competitors who met the qualifying standards for the Atlantic Region Championships during the season will compete in that meet, which takes place at Nazareth College (N.Y.) on March 6-7.
