The Stockton University indoor track & field teams competed in 10 meets during the 2019-20 indoor season. Unfortunately, the campaign ended prematurely for three Ospreys who qualified for the NCAA Championships as the meet was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. The season was filled with many highlights including 27 event wins and four school records.

The Stockton women's team finished third in the NJAC Championships for the fifth straight year and posted its best finish in the three years of the Atlantic Region Championships with 11th place. The Osprey men also finished third at the NJAC meet, missing out on second place by just two points. The Stockton men were 12th at the Atlantic Region Championships.

Senior
Jessica McRae finished her career with an outstanding season. McRae ranked sixth in NCAA Division III with a school-record triple jump of 11.88 meters. She won four times, three in the triple jump and one in the long jump. One of McRae's triple jump wins came at the NJAC Championships, for which she earned an NJAC First Team nod.

McRae was chosen NJAC Field Athlete of the Week three times during the year. She was slated to compete in the triple jump at the NCAA Championships before the meet was canceled.
Susann Foley (high jump) and
Edward Dennerlein (shot put) also qualified for the NCAA meet.

Foley, a sophomore transfer, excelled in her first season at Stockton. She won the high jump three times, including at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals to become the Stockton's first female regional champion. Foley ended the year tied for 22nd in the nation in the triple jump and was an NJAC Honorable Mention performer.

Jeanmarie Harvey had a breakout sophomore season, winning the pole vault three times. Harvey captured the conference crown to snag an NJAC First Team spot. McRae, Foley and Harvey all received USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region honors by finishing the season ranked in the top five in the region in an event.

The foursome of
Kristy Goff,
Amanda Logie,
Lauren Maldonado and
Taylor Mulch garnered NJAC First Team accolades by winning the league title in the distance medley relay. Mulch also was named NJAC Rookie of the Week once. Additional event winners during the season were
Charlotte Leon (weight throw),
Shahyan Abraham (shot put) and
Jesse DeLello (mile).

Jy'Asia Bivins was NJAC Second Team in the long jump while DeLello, Mulch, Goff and
Jessie Klenk were NJAC Honorable Mention in the 4x800 relay.

Olivia Harris were NJAC Honorable Mention in the 4x200 relay.

Edward Dennerlein joined the Stockton men's team as a transfer for his senior year and certainly made the most of it. Dennerlein finished the season ranked 12th in the nation in the shot put, qualifying for the NCAA Championships before they were canceled.

Dennerlein won the shot put four times, including at the NJAC Championships, for which he earned an NJAC First Team honor. Dennerlein also qualified for USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region recognition and was chosen NJAC Field Athlete of the Week three times.

Junior
Keith Holland recorded three wins and finished tied for 24th in the nation in the pole vault. Holland won his event at the conference meet and snagged an NJAC First Team slot for the third straight year.

Hunter Daly came into his own with four wins total, three in the high jump and one in the long jump. Daly won the NJAC title and was NJAC First Team in the high jump. He also earned USTFCCA All-Atlantic Region recognition.

Darren Wan won twice in the weight throw and made history by breaking the 35-year-old school record in the event. Wan was NJAC Second Team in the weight throw and was selected NJAC Field Athlete of the Week once. He finished the year ranked 25th in the nation in the weight throw as well.

Two additional school records fell during the season, with
Daniel Do setting a new mark in the 3000m and freshman
Jared Conte establishing a new Stockton record in the 200m. Conte collected an NJAC Honorable Mention nod in the 200m.

In addition to Wan, NJAC Second Team honors also went to sophomore
Matthew Carter in the pole vault and
Tom Strychowski in the shot put. Conte was joined on the NJAC Honorable Mention list by
Kyle Navalance in the 5000m and senior
James Flasser in the shot put.
