Morristown, N.J. – Playing its first event in three weeks, Stockton University finished fourth in the Drew Spring Brook Invitational at Spring Brook Country Club. The tournament included 23 golfers from five NCAA Division III squads. Stockton finished fourth with a team score of 463, trailing Drew (353), Scranton (392) and Juniata (436).
Maggie Brennan (Spring Lake Heights/Manasquan) and
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) tied for team-best honors with matching scores of 103 that also tied for 12th overall. Brennan and Bowman each made one birdie and one par on the day.
Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) finished 14th with a 105 while
Serena Su (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) shot a 152 for 23rd place.
Stockton will play next in the Ursinus Valley CC Invitational in Sugarloaf, Pa. next Tuesday, October 19.
