Limerick, Pa. – Stockton University competed for the final time during the fall portion of its 2021-22 season as three Ospreys played in the Arcadia Fall Invitational at Turtle Creek Golf Club. The players competed as individuals as Stockton was one short of the required four golfers for a team score.
First-year player
Maggie Brennan (Spring Lake Hts./Manasquan) shot a 99 for the best round of her young career. Brennan finished 28th out of 48 players from 11 schools in either NCAA Division II or Division III. The round marked the first time that Brennan has broken 100 in a college event.
Brynn Bowman (Ocean City/Ocean City) finished in 30th place with a 101 on the day. Freshman
Ella van Schalkwyk (Haddon Hts./Paul VI) rounded out the Osprey trio with a 104 that put her a tie for 32nd place at the Arcadia Fall Invitational.
Stockton competed four times during the Fall 2021 semester. The Ospreys will return to action in Spring 2022 for more play in the program's third season of intercollegiate women's golf.
