Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (6-4, 0-2 NJAC) faced its toughest test of the season so far as the Ospreys hosted The College of New Jersey (8-3, 2-1 NJAC), which is ranked 11th in the NFHCA national poll. The Lions scored in every quarter and downed Stockton 5-1.

Alexandria Palumbo (Mantua/Clearview) netted her fourth goal of the season during the fourth period for the Ospreys. Goaltender
Alley Harris (Mullica Hill/Clearview) made four saves in the game as TCNJ outshot Stockton 13-7.
Gianna Morganti (Berlin/St. Joseph) kept the contest scoreless with an early defensive save before Lions' goals by Kayla Cichlar in the first quarter and Mia Lanzilotta in the second stanza resulted in a 2-0 count at halftime.
Chirstina Cammarata increased Stockton's deficit to 3-0 in the third quarter. Palumbo later spoiled the shutout with 4:10 remaining in the game as she positioned herself at the left post and deflected a shot by
Madison Dancisin (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) into the cage.
Claire Engebreth scored for TCNJ a minute later to set the final score at 5-1 in favor of the #11 Lions. Palumbo registered three of Stockton's seven shots while four other Ospreys added one shot apiece.
TCNJ goalie Dani Britton earned the win with four saves in a scoreless 51:15. Saige Berkowicz played the last 8:45 and made two stops while yielding Palumbo's goal.
Stockton will play at home again on Tuesday when the Ospreys host FDU-Florham in a non-conference game at 7 p.m.
