Madison, N.J. – Stockton University (13-6-3) advanced to the semifinals of the ECAC Tournament by shutting out Marywood University (13-5-1) 3-0 in a quarterfinal match played at FDU-Florham. The Ospreys scored once in the first half and twice in the second.
Jessica Heitmann (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) got Stockton on the board in the 25th minute with an assist by
Sydney Williams (Millville/Millville). The goal, Heitmann's fifth of the season, was the lone tally of a first half in which the Ospreys outshot Marywood 8-3.
Just 1:51 into the second half,
Maddie Klein (Hamilton/Steinert) gave Stockton some breathing room with her fourth marker of the year and Williams dished her second assist of the game.
Susan Porambo (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) later tacked on an unassisted goal in the 60th minute for her fifth of the season.

Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) needed just two saves to post her eighth shutout in the 3-0 victory. Marywood goalie Rebekah Becker played 78:14 and made five saves.
Stockton will play in the ECAC Tournament semifinals at FDU-Florham tomorrow at noon against either the host Devils or Rutgers-Newark.
